averyboo arts

We visited Averyboo Arts in Long Beach last fall and I'm only now getting around to posting the pictures.  They have Open Studio hours during which there are different materials and supplies available at creativity stations.  It is a great setting with huge storefront windows and natural light and a wonderful place for kids create, build and explore.  It's a perfect place for a play date and they do parties, too.  I'm thinking about having one of Avery's birthday parties there when she gets older.  Avery loved her time there and didn't want to leave!  We can't wait to go back!

It would be amazing to have a creative space like this nearby! Check out Erin Boniferro's Collage Collage here.

avery's first art class

Avery went to her first art class today and had so much fun exploring new textures and media!  I loved seeing those little hands at work.

Wish we had a kids' bookstore like this here in Southern California!
